Reimagining Tourism Together: Join Our Online Event to Shape the Future of Sustainable and Digital Travel

In an era where tourism faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities, the Dual Tourism Project is working to redefine the sector by fostering inclusivity, sustainability, and digital transformation. Supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, this initiative brings together institutions and experts from Italy, Greece, Argentina, and Colombia, aiming to create a more adaptive and innovative tourism ecosystem.

As part of its mission, the project is organizing an online event, “Reimagining Tourism Together”, on 20 February 2025, from 15:30 to 17:00 (CET Time) via Google Meet. This interactive session will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, strategic discussions, and the presentation of forward-thinking approaches in the tourism industry.

Bringing Together Global Expertise

The event will feature key institutional representatives from the Province of Salerno, Municipality of Armstrong, and Alcaldía de Cartagena, who will provide insights into the evolving landscape of tourism policies and regional strategies. This will be followed by a detailed presentation of the Dual Tourism Project, where participants will learn about its objectives, the MOOC platform, and the diverse learning opportunities available.

One of the core elements of the event is the Partner Insights session, where experts will highlight critical aspects of modern tourism, focusing on:

  • Digital Tourism – Presented by eCommerce Institute (Argentina), exploring how digital tools and e-commerce strategies are reshaping travel experiences.
  • Inclusive Tourism – Led by Cosvitec (Italy), discussing accessibility and the importance of tourism experiences that cater to diverse audiences.
  • Sustainable Tourism – Delivered by Institute of Entrepreneurship Development – iED (Greece), emphasizing eco-friendly practices and sustainability-driven initiatives in the tourism sector.

The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to engage with experts, share their perspectives, and gain valuable insights on the future of tourism.
